description: Today, school culture limits the use of the corridor to passing time between class periods, access to student support spaces, and connection to administration. This enclosed, underutilized space creates a barrier between students, education, and landscape. The repetitive, rigid organization of academic program along school corridors reduces visual or acoustic connections to learning and binds curriculum to classrooms that inhibit active learning and interdisciplinary collaboration. This project seeks to blend the functions of a corridor and classroom to create fluid, accessible learning environments that consider student experience and perception. All students must feel comfortable in their environment to learn and interact effectively. Through the exploration of collaborative educational scales, material, and light, the corridor becomes a primary location for inclusive and dynamic learning environments for the school community.
