description: Architecture and landscape architecture are often viewed as entirely different entities and thus treated as entirely disseparte [sic] from one another. Treating architecture and landscape architecture as similar entities, permits a greater understanding of topography and existing site qualities. Through an interplay of interior and exterior spatial relationships the architecture can serve as a mediator between both inside and outside, distilling the boundary of built and unbuilt. This invisible line of built and unbuilt, natural and artificial is the primary idea driving the production of this thesis.
