description: This thesis will explore the implications of suburban development, with an expressed focus on the 1950s decade. The current suburban fabric is subject to fragmentation of social activity because the development coincided with political timelines that discriminated again minorities and gender demographics and prioritized vehicular dominance. Introducing new typologies into the suburban context, we can create a cohesive environment that connects fragmented system. The proposal of new architecture will influence human interactions to create an inclusive framework. Two investigations will take place: One exploring mixed-use typologies and another exploring special qualities that influence community.
